Daniel and Animals

New to the community and hoping you all may be able to help me. I'm looking for any fics where Daniel bonds with an animal, be it alien or otherwise. I know of at least three and am hoping there are more. Specifically I barely recall one where SG-1 discovers some lemur or ferret like creatures on a planet and I think Daniel tries to help them and he bonds with at least a couple of them. It was a lovely story and I would love to read it and any of a similar vein.
