Carter gen fic

I really can't remember much about this fic and I can't find it anywhere.  It was Carter centric.  It's old.  Pretty sure there was no ship.  In the fic she goes missing for awhile, I think, and when they find her she doesn't speak.  Pretty sure there was a physical reason for it, not psychological trauma.  She can't really communicate in any way, not even to write the SGC a note otherwise... well, something bad would happen.  If there was torture it wasn't a big component.  That's all I recall.  Hopefully someone recognizes it!
