I'm looking for a story I read in which SG-1 visits a planet where there are gargoyles who patrol the city and make sure no crime happens. The gargoyles tend to keep pretty separate from humans, and are motivated by a very black-and-white sense of right and wrong. A very few people have a psychic link with the gargoyles, and it turns out Daniel is one of them. At some point later in the story Daniel ends up in a challenge arena. I'm fairly sure it's a Jack/Daniel story. Sound familiar to anyone?
