Hello friends! I'm a long time lurker but new to the posting stuff so pardon any mistakes I might make. I have a request. I'm taking a college class where I have to do a persuasive speech and I decided to try and persuade people to ship Jack/Daniel. Are there any fics/picspams/conversations/lists, anything at all that has a tag to why Jack/Daniel are canon. It would be greatly appreciated and I hope this is allowed. These boys are my OTP and I want people to know why. :)

What about scenes from the show?

There's a scene from one episode, set in a future AU or something (probably post season 6?) where the setup is that it's supposed to be Jack and Sam's wedding, with Daniel as the best man. However, the way the camera shot is framed, it initially only shows Jack and Daniel at the alter, in tuxes, with the room done up in wedding decorations, before pulling back/panning over so the viewer realizes what was happening. (AKA the director was intentionally making it look like it was their gay wedding at first).

Oh, and there's also the scene from season 7 or 8 where Daniel un-ascends for the second time, and he's naked in Jack's office, and Jack rips a banner or flag or something off a pole and hands it to him and then starts subconsciously feeling up the flagpole.

Although, persuading people to actually ship the pairing might be difficult, since what you ship is largely based on you personally find to be attractive in people or ideal in relationships, but persuading people that the writers meant for the viewers to ship it (by putting in tons of subtext) might be more realistic.
