So there's a fic out there in which John is doing Serious Math and stabs Rodney's hand with a pencil. I need that back in my life. Along with any other fics involving John being a genius or at least showing his intelligence.

Which makes me wonder if there are any similar SG-1 fics! Would kill for Jack finally owning his intelligence, especially if he can make a breakthrough somewhere that Daniel or Carter can't. Stabbing optional. (Okay. Would also kill for him stabbing Carter. Can hear her outraged "Sir!" now.)

There was a wonderful set of meta posts, ages ago, complete with extensive illustrative picspam, about the costumes worn by Jack and Daniel across the series. They... weren't all that complimentary (being mainly on the theme of why do two such gorgeous human beings wear such terrible, badly-fitting clothes), but they were very, very funny.

I think it was quite a famous series, and I'd be delighted if anyone could help me find them.

Hello friends! I'm a long time lurker but new to the posting stuff so pardon any mistakes I might make. I have a request. I'm taking a college class where I have to do a persuasive speech and I decided to try and persuade people to ship Jack/Daniel. Are there any fics/picspams/conversations/lists, anything at all that has a tag to why Jack/Daniel are canon. It would be greatly appreciated and I hope this is allowed. These boys are my OTP and I want people to know why. :)

sgagenrefinders, I'm wondering about something:
Amanda Tapping or David Hewlett (or both) said that during the filming of Season Four's "Trio" they (probably Jewel Staite as well) got kinda silly and were singing a lot, which they started calling "Stargate Atlantis: The Musical."

I don't think there were clips of the singing in the DVD outtakes or such, but I would love to be proven wrong on this. :) If you know of anything, please point me to where (online or on the DVDs?) it can be found. Thank you!

I'm looking for two things:

1) I remember a series of meta pieces on fanon about Daniel and how accurate they were (and weren't)? Some of the topics included Daniel's addiction to coffee, how frequently he died, his tendency to be bullied by SGC marines, him getting hurt the most out of SG-1, his stubborn pacifism, etc.

2) Are there any stories where SG-1 is subjected to a trust exercise to prove their worth before the native population? I don't mean for a sadistic purpose, a straight trade-yourself-for-the-others scenario or a fuck-or-die trope, just... someone has to do something seemingly fatal or very OOC, based solely on the orders of another team member and without understanding why.

(As an example, there was an Atlantis story that involved Sheppard's team swallowing various drugs on Sheppard's say-so without knowing what the drugs did, but it wasn't really the main plotline.)

Does anyone have a transcript of the Cameron Mitchell special feature that Ben Browder voiced? I believe this video was only included in the downloaded (iTunes?) version of Continuum, and was NOT available as an extra on the DVD.

I'm just hoping for a transcript of Browder's narration, not the video itself. Thanks very much!

Does anyone know of a good source for explanations of *how* particular Stargate symbols correspond to particular constellations? There are plenty of lists of which constellation goes with which glyph, but I'm working on a graphic design incorporating the dial-home address for Earth, and I'd like to use the constellations as design elements. But for some of them, I just can't figure out how the glyph lines up with the Earth constellation - 5-Centaurus, for example.

Is there a web site that has worked all that out for me? Hopefully with pictures, because I'm awful at visualizing constellations.

For that matter, where did the list of correspondences originally come from, anyway?

My apologies for the deluge of posts earlier today - since this is a free account, I'm limited to only five links in the sidebar, so decided to create seperate posts in which I could house archive links. Ironically, it will make it easier for me to update in future.
