Hello,
I was out off the FF world for more then 3 years... In the last weeks I rediscovered my old love for the SG1 series I read tons of the great old FF.
Are there any newer fanfiction? I would love to read something new.
My favorite Character will always be Daniel and the relation to Jack and the team.
As in the past I prefer Gen Stories but I like to read good Slash Stories as well.
- over 4000 words
- H/C, Angst... crossovers
- any other suggestion
I take everything that's good and not much older then 3 years...

Crossovers with what fandom? There are tons of great crossovers with SGA. Check on A03. There are also a lot of writers you might remember that are still writing.

I don't read gen and would not be helpful there.

As long as you recommend it I will read it! I read and enjoyed hundreds of slash stories (three years ago). And I have NO restrictions at all!
Mpreg, slavery, torture, genderswitch, bdsm....................

Rather than rec individual stories, I'm going to rec a few authors that are still active in the fandom and still producing work. Most of what I'm reading in this fandom tends to be older stuff and if you look a post or two down, I'm also looking for newer crossovers, which aren't so easy to find in this fandom with a few exceptions. (SGA, NCIS, and The Sentinel. I've written a Criminal Minds crossover as well as a Torchwood crossover, but they are a lot older than what you are looking for.) Anything from the authors below are worth your time and sure to please.

I am also going to rec one of mine that is an AU crossover since you mentioned that originally and that some people seemed to have enjoyed. The series was written in 2011 and starts off as pre slash and is very close to my heart. It's a bit older than what you asked for, but it continues with a second series related to this one and featuring Destiel. It's called The Barking Dog Winery and is SG1 and SGA and eventually SPN.

You tagged kidfic, so I suggest Daniel of Abydos, by Nightspear. The link is for the first 4 books on AO3; you can find the last one here. It's not within the last three years, but to the best of my knowledge, it's not on FF.net.

I'm re-reading Jack's Viking Sky at the moment. I adore this series. It's really long, but it's complete and so, so solid. Well written and thought out. Be warned, some of his fics are hard to read and can be quite dark/violent.

I love Sid, sg-wonderland, pinkdiamonds, Pepe (she's off the web now), Carlyn, Clarity, Berty, Babs, Paian, Joy...

I've read everything by these authors and enjoyed almost everything they've written. There are others I've read, but I gave you the tops authors.

Biblio and Mitch wrote things, but they have to be purchased for a small amount. There's a link for Biblio's stuff on JD Divas and here's Mitch's link: https://sites.google.com/site/mitchslash2/

Most were asking for small amounts to help pay bills. I LOVE Biblio's Genesis. It's really well written and takes place in AU, when Daniel is actually stuck in a different universe during "There But for The Grace of God".
