Hi, I just found this comm. Anyway, I've been looking for a fic that I read a while ago and it's driving me crazy so I thought I'd ask here.

It's a daniel whumping fic, where Daniel gets some illness/disease, that slowly paralyses him. It ends happily with him returning back to normal. Not a lot to go on, but that's all I can remember. I know it was really long, and I think that it was Jack/Daniel.

I'm looking for a Jack/Daniel story (set fairly late) in which Daniel has been going to conferences in Vegas and sneaking off (lots of security concerns) and hiring a male prostitute. Jack gets surveillance photos, and talks to Daniel, eventually offering to help him out instead. It turns out that they each are in love with one another (damn, it's no where near as sappy as this summary sounds!), but really don't know what to do with that -- Daniel's been denying himself anything but physical relief for so long that he's pretty much terrified (? or something like that) of trying anything real.

I'm pretty sure I'm murdering the plot here, but does anyone recognize it anyhow?
