Looking for "1969" fiction

Help! The title of this story is on the tip of my tongue, but I can't remember it.

It's a post-1969 story where a mysterious visitor comes from the Pentagon to interview the members of SG-1. It turns out that it's Michael (and I think he outranks them now). It ends with SG-1 having a barbecue with Michael and Jenny, who's also alive and well.

Anyone? Bueller? :-)

Jack/Daniel Weapon Kink

Such relief to find this community!  As you can see from the title, I am searching for a particular theme.  Actually, a particular story, which I believe is called "Why don't you die for me already" or something similar, in which Daniel realizes (or is it Jack realizing?) that every time they encounter a near-death, drag him thru the Gate situation, there is ... arousal.  I don't believe it goes beyond that (ie don't remember specific smut) but there's the general concept.
