FIC SEARCH: Daniel-Meridian

I'm searching for a fic I read a couple months ago. It was in AU of Meridian in which Jack did not tell Jacob to stop and Jacob was only able to heal Daniel to a point--he was permanently crippled and scarred. The story starts up later and Daniel rarely leaves his office and he begins attacking people or something and finally dies and ascends at the end of the fic with Jack realizing that was all he wanted all along.
