Found! Fic Search: Attacked by aliens from Foothold episode

Hello......hopefully someone can help me as I recall reading this story within the last couple weeks and for whatever reason I don't have it bookmarked.....and of course seeing as how I was reading it in the middle of the night I never finished it......

so here's what I recall.....
The SGC is attacked by the aliens from foothold via ship that targets and destroys the gate and where they thought the other gate was and well of course Maybourne was up to his old tricks and had moved the gate without anyone knowing......there is some coverup and I recall discussions about what would or wouldn't work as a good story......and I remember some reporters camping out at Daniel's apt bldg ?ing him one morning on his way to work and one of them asks about his grandfather.....and i recall a discussion at the mountain about it and them not knowing and Daniel basically saying they were the only ones as Catherine had that info when she picked him up......

and I don't know that I made it much further than that but I'm not really recalling much after that.....I am hoping that this is enough for someone to recognize it......if anyone does thank you so much in advance......

I am looking for a fic where the team has been captured off-world and the aliens there are preparing to torture them and send the video live through the gate back to the SGC so everone there can watch. The torturer has singled out Daniel has him tied up and is planning on raping him and he is trying to delay the guy in order for rescue to come by saying things like "should I draw you a map?" and "do you need me to get out and push?"

I am pretty sure that the section I remember is part of a longer fic and is definitely J/D slash.
