Search: John/Rodney Christmas Fic

Looking for a fic where (I think!) it's Christmas and Rodney is stuck in the infirmary and misses out on the dinner he had been looking forward to.  The Sheppard visits him, having distilled all the meal flavors into liquid so Rodney can enjoy them.
I've checked ALL the seasonal tags I could find, but this one seemed to be missing.

Fic Search: Jack as Elf-Prince in hiding?

Hello all,
I am trying to find a story that has Jack reading a journal or letters from his mother, in which there's a gradual reveal that Jack is not wholly human, but elvish or faerie of the Queen Mab variety.  His mother hid him away from his father among mortals. 

I can't recall any slash pairing except that I swear I read it on Area 52.  I cannot find it anywhere.  Help would be greatly appreciated.  Thanks very much.
