Daniel requests

Hi everyone, I’m just recently back in the Stargate fandom and have a couple of requests to help get the ball rolling in catching up on the fic.

1. Anything about Daniel remembering his time being Ascended or developing psychic type skills as a human because of that experience, anything like that or similar.

2. I’m looking for the reverse of the ’Daniel underestimated by the military’ thing where instead he’s underestimated by intellectuals because he looks too tough, also things like Daniel interacting with people from his pre-stargate days, stuff that show how much he’s changed.

3. Not a proper request but if anyone knows some standout Daniel centric stories or authors that would be great.

Any type is fine - gen, het, slash - but my favorite pairing is Jack/Daniel.

A few things for your information:

1. New layout - yay!

2. I’ve gone through all the entries for 2009 and added an *open or *closed tag. My initial plan was to tag every entry but with 1,188 posts, 6,043 comments, 167 tags and 759 watchers, that’s not going to happen ;-) All future entries will initially be tagged open and, after the OP has added a link to the found story above the cut, it will be closed. If you’ve got some time, have excellent researching skills or are a whiz at rare pairings, click the *open tag and go crazy.

3. I’ve refined the crossover tag so it now shows what show/book is being searched for (green_grrl, I’m on a tagging spree. Send help!)

4. Looking over all these entries reminds me of what a helpful and friendly place we’ve built over the last four years. That being said, I’ve noticed a few conversations that have continued in comments long after I’ve tagged an entry and continued on my merry way that are not appropriate. Let’s remember the first rule of this community - ”Be polite. All pairings/threesomes/moresomes are acceptable and appreciated.” green_grrl and I can’t be everywhere at once so if you see something happening in a thread that makes you feel uncomfortable, comment here or drop me a PM.

5. I’d rather end on a high note than a sour one so I’m opening up the post to all watchers. Everyone has a feel good, favourite fic that they keep for a rainy day, don’t they? So here’s your chance to share.
