Daniel clears someone of a crime

I am searching for a specific story, I think it's much longer than the scene I remember and likely rather well known. In the scene I remember Daniel is called because a member of an off world team is held on a planet because he committed a religious crime. If I recall correctly he drank from a holy fountain during a tour through the city.
Daniel proves that their Guide at the time deliberately set the team up so that at least one of them would drink from it (didn't tell them about the fountain, lead them on a route without any other normal drinking fountains during the hottest time of the day etc.)
Does this ring any bells? I would be very grateful.

first one I want to find is - creatures that fly, want to say they are like furry worms?  eats leaves and stuff and SG1 had to go back to the planet to get what they could eat.  they came through the stargate cause a little one was sick. they got loose on the mountain,  one or more followed Jack and Daniel home?  I think this one was part of a larger story.

then the next one I want is a blob, it grows and can change in to something it touches.  turns into a bird, then a cat, has to turn into a rock to hide when NID comes by, goes home with Jack and Daniel. 

then there is the alien that turns into Daniel, and starts a relationship with Jack.  Jack finally figures out it's not really Daniel, and they trick the creature and save Daniel, and rig the dialing device so the creature can't come again.  this one is going to be a long shot, I can only remember fragments.
