FIC SEARCH: SG-1, gen (?), Daniel whump

Hi, everyone!

This one's been driving me crazy, especially since it's the second freaking time I'm looking for this particular fic (not here, though. I think.) ::facepalm::

Anyway, I think it's gen, it's angsty; there's Daniel being cooped up in the infirmary (I think), blind and deaf - temporarily, I think, and Jack is there, but not really able to help at first considering Daniel's condition... and .... I don't remember much more. Jack might figure a way to communicate with Daniel, but that might be in the fic or a part of my imagination.

I know it's an older fic, and it might be by one of the "classic" authors from B.LJ. (Before LiveJournal ;)

To whomever finds this piece of writing for me, I promise to finally name it properly and chain it to my hard drive ::nods empathically::

FOUND! I've finally found the story through a hit & miss Google search. It's Privation by The Flaming Dragonfly.
