Thematic search, Competent!Jack

I know in the show, and many fanfics, Jack's character is kind of down-played a bit.  (Kind of like Tony in NCIS.)  He comes across as less serious and less knowledgeable than the rest of the team, kind of more of a goof-ball.  The thing is, I think the SG team tends to forget just how experienced he really is.  So I'm looking for stories where Jack really demonstrates his skills and/or knowledge, and others take notice.  You know, kind of a 'So THIS is why he's the SIC of the entire base.'.   Slash (J/D) or gen preferred, please no het.  Major thanks!
