Actually, in most fic I've seen regarding Daniel and Teal'c's relationship, Teal'c's feelings are 1) respect for Daniel's knowledge (as reading and writing were high privileges under the "gods"), and 2) guilt/wanting to make restitution for taking Daniel's wife and subsequently killing her.
