I don't remember the name Dangermouse; I thought it was at The Tablet but can't find it there. I've Googled with what I recall.
I remember what you say. I also remember: SHOULD I PUT A SPOILER WARNING HERE? it's the Nox calling for help. It turns out Apophis is on their planet. He attacks Daniel with a hand device modified to suck out Daniel's soul (I'm paraphrasing badly), but Jack gets in the way, with results that are hard on both of them.
