So I'm having extremely vague impressions of a story...so vague in fact, that I might simply be pulling it out of my ass...

It was a quantum mirror story where Jack looses his Daniel and then uses the mirror to search through as many alternate universes he can until he can find not only a world where he can stay/is needed. More importantly, a world that has a Daniel who is receptive to his interests. I also remember the story being pretty intense and angsty, but ultimately there's a happy ending. ring any bells whatsoever?

I'd also be happy with any good AR quntum mirror stories. I have already gone through the tag on this journal and loved the few stories that were there.
(I'm only looking for SG-1 though, and Jack/Daniel would be a plus, but not a necessity. Thanks!)
