About a year ago I read a long series where jack and Daniel were in a committed relationship with a male Stargate team member. One of the worlds they visited had a secretive society where some members served others and they needed blood to survive. They had to stay in at night or risk getting attacked by creatures. They hunted by day. The chapters were listed in Roman numerals. Sound familiar.
