Daniel Jackson, M.D.

I have this phrase stuck in my head: "Daniel Jackson, M.D.", said in a tone you would use to say, "Bond. James Bond."

I can't remember if it's from a fic or an episode or maybe a dream.  At any rate, I'm wondering if there's any stories of Daniel (or Jack, or Daniel and Jack) as medical doctors and/or secret agent spies. :)  Thanks!

Sunraven has the Kidnap and Ransom series where Jack’s works sort of undercover, and recruits Daniel to work with him. Perfica does a wonderful maintaining the awesome J/D AU list (http://community.livejournal.com/stargate_search/66970.html) where you can find more AUs. There are a few where Jack does some undercover work, or where one or both of them are police detectives. If you want the specific titles of those, let me know.

I don’t think there’s a single one where one of them is an M.D. Clearly, we need someone write that "Doctor Daniel" story.

Oh, sounds wonderful. I'll definitely check those out, thanks! Now that I think about it, I read an SGA AU once where Rodney was a fabulous neurosurgeon. I guess there's sadly not enough of those. :)

D'oh, I remembered that I read one where O'Neill was a pediatrician helping out underprivileged kids. The J/D aspect in that context boggled me a bit, though. I'll definitely give this one a read. :)

Thanks for the spy story too. I skimmed the first two paragraphs and it's already interesting. I love AUs. :)

I'm afraid I'm coming up blank on any where Daniel is a medical doctor, but Sistine's The Age Inside has Jack as a doctor. Daniel comes under his care as a young, abused boy, and later, when they meet again when Daniel is older, there are Daniel/OMC, Jack/Daniel elements thrown into the mix.
