Brother Lazarus?

Does anybody know of another link for L. Valerius Nicola's "Brother Lazarus" fic? (Or did anybody save it, by any chance?) It looks like she's deleted her nicolae LJ. Woe!

It's an AU, a Jack/Daniel kidfic, with the O'Neills adopting a teenaged Daniel who *ahem* idolizes his new big brother. As I remember, there were ~five chapters written.

She change her LJ name & delete her suavisatio (sp?) LJ because she doesn't want to be remembered for that specific WIP. To my knowledge she didn't finished writing that fic *sigh*

She did all that specifically because of that one story?? That's too bad--I was totally loving it. I wish she'd just kept writing it, but also moved and gotten a new name and just never revealed who she was.

I love faux!cest...I wish I had talent, so I could write some.

well, I know her new LJ name, since I'm in her f-list, I don't know whether I should tell you, honestly I really don't know the 'ethics' on this... ??

I also love that story & don't understand why did she felt the need to delete her fic-LJ.

I wouldn't ask you to tell me her new name, but i think the ethics would've required that you ask her first. Since I know the story, knowing her new name would defeat the purpose of getting a new ID!

I don't know if I'm just noticing it more, but it seems a number of writers have taken their work offline recently, and it's a sad trend.

Yeah, that's a sad trend :( I mean, it's a free thing, don't cost a thing... or maybe they just annoyed for getting emails asking them to continue writing. ;)

I think some writers must get some crap for what they write...Pepe said she got a TON of angry mail over the Sunray Inn series, I think she mentioned the use of toys as a particular sticking point (not that I have any idea why that would upset someone). And I think some writers are tired of not getting feedback.

I can't imagine writing an author and asking them to keep writing (as opposed to saying I hope/would be happy if they wrote more). I have NO talent for fiction writing, even though I've tried a billion times, so I would never think to ask it of someone else when they clearly don't already have the muse. I figure, when they're up to it, they'll write it. I do get a little chuffed when someone abandons a WIP, but OTOH, again, I know that writing under duress is impossible for most people, so my upset is mostly regret that I can't continue enjoying it. A writer whose work I enjoy is sharing his or her talent with us, and being pushy about getting more seems so ungrateful.
