Having just read a tremendous fic by nomadicwriter, I'd like to reread a fic I read just a couple of weeks ago - but didn't bookmark ::kicks self:: and now can't remember where it was, who it was by, or who on my flist recced it. ::looks at paian and princessofg:: It might have been one or other of you two that recced?

It was Jack/Sara, meeting by chance in a bar and treating the meeting as a first meeting. Lovely little story, full of promise for their future. Not much to go on I know, but any help you can give would be much appreciated.

And while we're at it, any other Jack/Sara recs would be much appreciated too :-)

Yep, we're definitely thinking of the same one here I think: it was def. on LJ. No apologies though - I'm the idiot here for not bookmarking right away :-(

No, the one I'm thinking of was set in now time, ie years after the divorce. They meet by chance in a bar (maybe the author doesn't let on right away that it's *Sara* Jack is talking to? Ack, the details are hazy) and mutually, tacitly decide to start from a clean slate. Or something like that.

Damn. I'm not usually quite so incoherent :-(

BadgerGater wrote some nice Jack/Sara stories, as well as gen. My favourite is Circle of Life, which gives them and the whole SG-1 universe a happy ending. It was written during season five, so it's been Jossed completely, but it's a nice story anyway.

I think I will have to bookmark this post. I love Jack/Sara and look at the pretty reccs! I so need to read Decade already.

I'm working on a few more, but if I find any good ones that I happen to stumble on and read, I'll let you know.

Sure. I babble a lot about stuff that is unimportant, but LJ is the first place I tend to post when stuff is done. I just can't guarentee the stories will be anything to write home about. Heh.
