 Hello.  I remember only the beginning of this story.  Jack and Sam are at Cheyenne Mountain, engaged but Jack doesn't love her.  Sam has Daddy issues.  They haven't succeeded in opening the gate and the program is about to be shut down..  Cathryn sends Jack to recruit Dr. Daniel Jackson and sparks fly at first glance.  Rayner is trying to steal Daniels work and Sara Gardner gave the nod to Cathryn about Daniel.  Thank you for any help.  I have become quite obsessed!

OMG! That's it! I read her stuff all the time. Obviously not so much. I wasn't remembering the beginning of the story..that WAS the story, sorta'. Thank you, thank you Arresi. I want to kiss you ;). Jody
