sga: crazy

hey there! i already searched for this a couple of months ago, but no one remembered anything, i thought maybe this time someone would *hopeful smile* 

most of what i remember is actually a bit hazy, but it was an sga, gen, shepwhump story. 

it's still with the old team - with carson & elizabeth, but i'm not sure if it's with ford or ronon. i also remember that lorne is playing a pretty important role. there is a kind of virus or something in atlantis, afflicting everyone who doesn't have the ata gene & makes them go kinda crazy. i don't really remember much of the plot, just that everyone who goes crazy seems to want to kill sheppard (i really don't remember why) & the others need to protect him. there's lots of evil soldiers & fighting & such & erm... that's it. & oh yes, i know i read it on fanfiction.net, but maybe it's also on LJ or somewhere else...

i really hope someone knows something & thanks in advance.

I haven't been able to find it yet. It is one where the one of the ancients left behind an AI with a nanite body who absolutely hated Sheppard because he was a mongrel - human and ancient. She was able to use her nanites to influence the non-ATA carriers and went after John in a major way. Ronon was in it. I think the OC was named Carris, Charis.... I'll keep looking.

it does sound like the story i remember... hmm. i really hope you'll find it - i've been looking for this for ages, but i didn't remember too many detils...

I've read this one too, but I can't remember the name of it. You may try posting over at sgastoryfinders (community on LJ) Those people are usually lightning fast with responses.

I was just kind of fumbling around live journal and came across your request. Bummer it took so long to get your answer.
