fic search: Daniel/Cameron slash

I am looking all over the place for genuine Daniel/Cameron fanfic in which Daniel and Cameron actually are interested in each other.   I read a few by chase_acow   earlier today, and now I'm in the mood for more, but I'm not finding any! 

   Instead, I am finding a lot of Daniel/Cameron where Daniel is using Cam as a replacement for Jack, or apocofic type stories where they're sort of using each other for stress relief, or stories where they might be sleeping together, but Daniel doesn't actually like Cameron.

I don't mind angsty fic, or fic where there's past J/D or past pairings for Daniel or Cameron,  or unrequited feelings from the past, or some mild freaking out over finding themselves interested in a man.  It's just that I would like when the story is all said and done,  there is some sort of obvious affection/relationship between Daniel and Cameron.


I really thought there'd be more out there with these two!  Maybe because the last two seasons are still sort of new?  Either way, I'd love any recs and I'm hoping that actual Daniel/Cameron isn't a rare pair and I've hit the quota out there!

really! I am getting to happy Cam and Daniel in this month's recs! I have just been too sick to put the brain power into thinking clearly most of the time LOL

anyway, here (http://midnightstorms.net/bytitle.htm) is a nice cache of Cam/Daniel stories and the wonderful kylielee1000 put together a listing of stories (http://kylielee1000.livejournal.com/111464.html?style=mine) quite a while ago. these should give you something to dig into.

On another topic, has anyone ever considered writing a fic where Daniel is more interested in Cam??? haven't seen it yet.

Oh, god, that's awesome. I have to go back and comment there now.

Nearly everything I've seen has been Cam--> Daniel initially, which then branches off into one of the Daniel uses Cam/ Use eachother/ doormat Cam cliches, or sometimes where Daniel realizes he likes him too. I don't think I have EVER read the opposite, or where Daniel's the one after Cameron first where it leads to a Cam/Daniel pairing.

Interesting, I wonder if it's because Cam comes off as such a fanboy, or if it's because we're just following writing trends in fic? I have noticed in fan fiction in general, that if a story does well and becomes recognized, it's details or fanon, or characterization get mimicked all over the place as if the original were canon and not the show itself.

there are some core fanon things that have been written by influential authors and adopted by the rank and file. have you read all the cam/daniel stuff listed in stargateficrec memories? I had to go the direction I did because much of the happy lovey dovey stuff had already been recced in that category.

and yes, in season 9, Cam was such a fanboy. It is hard to not see that. He got over it. A little. Perhaps we will see a different side of Cam in the movies, where Daniel would find himself inexplicably attracted to him instead of the opposite...hmmmm

Bingo! That is absolutely perfect, thank you so much. I like the pairing and now that I've read some Cam/Daniel that's rather positive, I really want more. I don't mind the other stuff because I like the other Daniel pairings as well, but if I want Jack/Daniel, I can go find it. If I want Daniel/Teal'c, it's rare, but I can find it. I just couldn't seem to find much Cam/Daniel!

And I know I haven't fully investigated the archives I've bookmarked, but even google wasn't bringing me there.
