A Classic O'Neill Christmas

 One of my favorite stories on fanfiction.net was "A Classic O'Neill Christmas" in which Jack took Daniel home to meet all of his family.  It's no longer there.  Is it anywhere else?

I love this one it is a long 7 part J/D slash where Jack takes Daniel home for an O'Neill family christmas at the cabin.

I liked reading about all of Jack's siblings and their children, and, towards the end of what was there (I don't think the story was completed), Jack gave Daniel a ring.

I’d never heard of the fic, myself, when someone asked about it several months ago. I’ve looked around here (though the search may have been at jackslashdaniel), but haven’t been able to find the post.

At the time, I couldn’t find it, and the general consensus was that it had been removed from the web. :(

No one came forward with one, I don't even think anyone had the author's name. Do you know what it was? And is the title you gave exactly correct? None of the search engines I've used can come up with anything.

That's the title I remember. The story goes something like this: At first, Jack and Daniel are going to spend Christmas at home, but then Jack gets two first-class plane tickets from his mother, so they have to buy presents for everyone (about 40) and go visit the family. During the last chapter, Jack gives Danny a ring.

That sounds similar to the description from the previous post, but unless you have another search term, author's name or quote, there's nothing to search with. Of the 60 or so J/D Christmas fics I know of, none of them have "Classic" in the title, and the story isn't one I recall reading. (That's why I've spent so much time searching for it!) *g*

I don't read at ff.net; is there a way you could try to ask there? Sorry, but that's all I can suggest.

The only other thing I remembe is the first chapter: they come home from a mud planet, and Jack and Daniel take a shower in Jack's private bathroom on base.

Hey, I've been looking for that story forever.. I remeber the first chapter title but that's about it. I can't remember the author!?!?!
