Hello all,
I'm looking for a fic that has SG-1 returning to a planet to 'rescue' the diplomatic team or other SG team that is being held is a sort-of hostage situation because the locals are suddenly being threatened by Goa'uld invasion.  It's action, but the point is Daniel & Jack's relationship as Jack has to lie to the leader of the locals that the SGC is going to help them out, when in reality there's no chance of that.  It's a character piece where Jack has to pull a Shades Of Grey-esque con but for once Daniel gets it and isn't all over Jack with whining self-righteousness.

I think it's gen, but it may be slash.  The natives are sort of aboriginal/native american if I remember rightly, and honor is a big deal, which just makes it worse for Jack.
