Hi,

I'm looking for a fic, but I can't remember if it is gen or a J/D slash one.  I only remember a part where Jack, Teal'c and Sam are planning a surprise party for Daniel.  However, because they are planning in secret, Daniel feels left out because he sees the others keep meeting and hanging out together.

Does this sound familiar to anyone?

There's another one, which is closer to your query, but I can't recall the name/author. It's a story in which SG1 are forced to alienate Daniel as a way of testing his 'loyalty'. Gen Hammond is also reluctantly involved. They have to get Daniel to quit. It takes Daniel a while to catch the clue bus because when they are leaving him out of stuff he assumes they are just planning a secret birthday party. Hope someone can take these extra details and put a name to the story.
