FIC SEARCH: John/Rodney

So, I'm at my wit's end. I've been looking for two specific fics for a few hours npw, and getting nowhere. Here's hoping this helps...

The first was a crossover-ish thing with Kitchen Confidential. John was the Bourdain character, and I remember Cadman having a thing for knives.

The other was a penguin!fic... not Anamalia Sequence by Leah (though I adore that fic beyond reason) but, if I recall correctly, it might have been a remix of that.

Any help would be appreciated!

when do zines time out?

I usually can't afford zines (even if I always want to read them) so I have wait for the stories to time out and for the authors to post them publicly. If they ever do...

Is there any chance the Surfacing zines (McShep, http://agentwithstyle.com/atlantis.htm) will time out? I recently found out about them, and saw the author list (!!!!) and want them terribly, but eeek! overseas shipping!

I'm in the mood for something on the darker/angsty side. Any recs as far as fics that involve Daniel with head/brain injury? Mostly looking for a Daniel that is loosing memories or is child-like, something along those lines.
