Fic search: SG1 team story

What I remember mostly consists of a lot of black oil (and crystals, I think,) and a large mass of cables or roots. And the floor was collapsing.

I have been looking for this story for ages - I think I read it on one of the larger archives (maybe gateworld?), but I haven't been able to find it and I could be totally wrong. But anyway, I'm nearly positive it was gen or at least very team-centered, and somewhat long. If anyone could find it for me, that would be so great.
