I'm searching for a fic that I read a year or so ago - but just can't seem to find again - from what I remember I think it was set post-heroes and it opened with Daniel at a small mall buying a present for Cassie (a silver mirror - something that looked like one Janet had) - he gets shot in a robbery and then rushed to hospital. That's about all I remember, apart from it being really good.

I have also been searching for ages for any fics that have Daniel taking the Ancient Download instead of Jack, so if anyone knows of any, I would be immensely grateful for a link :)
