 Ya know, I've been trying to put all my disks on a spreadsheet, title, summary, etc...... so I can find what I want.  Also sometimes someone here will ask about a story that I recognize but have no clue to title or author.  So.... getting organized so maybe I can help back for the help I have received.

So many stories in my head that I can't seem to find on my disks and the one on top that I can't seem to find in my muddle is a J/D established relationship story.

They both have rings.  Daniel wears his, Jack wears his on his dogtags.  This might be part two of who knows how many.

They go off world, Daniel goes missing  (again)  during the search Jack finds kids playing and they have Daniels ring.  Jack trades chocolate from Sam's pack for the ring.

The only way Jack convinces Hammond to let them go back is to show his ring that matches Daniels and declare that Daniel would never give his ring up to anyone.

Now that I have told most all of the story and some of you are wondering why I need to read it again........

any clues?

 HIYA EVERYONE,

first time on LJ, hope you dont mind a question first up;

the story i'm looking for starts with john waking up to find rodney in bed with him. in the morning he's gone and they dont talk about it.

this happens several times and john begins to realise that it coincides with his almost dying and decides to prove his hypothosis by getting himself into more and more dangerous situations.

they eventually work things out in their own little way!!
