open search- John is an amazing leader and inspires loyalty

(in my opinion) and I want to see some fics that displays that. I want to see some fics that show the other people in Atlantis feel a) loyal to him, b) inspired to him c) ready to go into hell for him.

I love John/Rodney but I would equally love gen.

Domenika Marzione's Just Like the Richard Gere Movie (http://miss-porcupine.livejournal.com/142740.html) is a great look at John at the SGC before they go to Atlantis (where he mostly seems like a slouchy slacker), and the Marines find out that he actually deserves their respect. All of Domenika's fic, really, gives an awesome military point of view. (Gen)
