This fic is driving me insane.
I read it a few months back, and it's something about the Wraith attacking and Sheppard and McKay self-destructing Atlantis. Only they keep coming back. They figure out it's a safety-thing, so they work to "reboot" Atlantis earlier and earlier by initiating the self-destruct earlier and earlier, until they reach the point just before the Wraith arrive so they can raise the shields and prevent the attack.
What really creeped me out was the ending, where it's revealed just how long it took them; how many reboots they've been through, and how much energy Atlantis had left to keep rebooting them.
It was in two parts, that much I remember, and if I could remember what the safety-feature was called, I think I could just search it on Google, because that was the title of the fic as far as I recall.
I really hope you can help me with this one, since it's one of the best fics I've ever read in any fandom.
