Good Jack/Daniel Fanfiction

Hello, guys!
I'm new to the fandom and I'm looking for your precious recommendations.
I like Jack/Daniel slash (OK, no surprise here, I guess) but the thing is that there are TO MANY stories and it's extremely difficult to find a really nice one. That's why I'm asking you to give me a piece of advice. I want something specific:
- Raiting: Adult (preferably)
- prefer 'first time' ones to established relationship (better if the fic will cover that period of their life when the actual relationship hasn't started yet, but they already start to realize that they have feelings towards each other)
- In character. I mean - no whore!Daniel jumping in Jack's bed with a clear intention to give him an incredible blowjob, for example (maybe it's only my vision of the character, but for me Deniel is quite shy guy in everything that concerns relationship, and Jack is the one who's supposed to make the first step)
- top!Jack and bottom!Daniel
- no 'porno without plot'. Something deeply emotional.

Long story or a shorter one, or just a little 500-words comment!fic - don't care.
I will be glad to receive any help! Thanks in advance.

oops, only just saw the shy!Daniel part -- to me the ones I mentioned are in character for Daniel, but thoughtful!Daniel rather than shy!Daniel.

I second princessofg's recommendation for Biblio (http://www.jd-divas.com/biblio/biblio.html) since you particularly want the shy sort of Daniel. She writes well and favors the cute version of Daniel.

Also? stargateficrec has a MASSIVE archive of stories that have been rec'ed in the past. From the recs, you can generally get an idea as to whether the story will hit the spot for you. :)

There are two authors I can't rec enough where Jack and Daniel are at their best in my opinion.
First is Orrymain's Universe

She has A LOT of stories which can very well stand alone but you can read them as a looong beautiful series. She's following the episodes of the show, season by season, with gen stories in the first season (Jack/Daniel friendship), then with Jack/Daniel slash, from the first time at the begining of the first season, through establishing a relationship, to having a large family after season nine (beyond the series).

Her Jack and Daniel also go from first time to an established relationship, but I must warn you, there is not an established top!Jack or bottom!Daniel.

Just wanted to add that in my second rec Daniel is not shy. Both Jack and Daniel are strong, even if Jack comes more as "the alpha male of the SGC" and Daniel "on the feisty side". (I'm quoting Feisty Daniel Appreciation Society here.) But I still think they are truly wonderful characterized by Dangermouse in this series.

For Orrymain, it really is ooc and slightly unrealistic. I never could get past the first few. Read and enjoy I suppose, as long as you don't mind them having something like five or ten kids. None M-preg as I recall.

Pretty much the best Jack/Daniel author out there is Komos (Paian over on dreamwidth). All of her stories are fabulous and if I had to pick a favorite of hers, I just couldn't do it. One of them is a first time fic called "Double Bed" (http://paian.dreamwidth.org/52409.html), which is absolutely true to the characters as they are in the series canon. Just be forewarned that it takes place during the time frame of the SG-1 season 7 episodes "Heroes", parts 1 and 2.
