FIC SEARCH: Daniel Fics

Hello!

I am looking for two stories that I thought I had bookmarked but can't find.

1. The first is a Jack/Daniel fic, and the only scene I remember is when Jack and Sam are getting on an elevator at the SGC and seem cozy/friendly, and Daniel punches a wall. Teal'c is there too, and (I think) he tells Daniel that Daniel really needs to talk to Jack.

2. The second fic may or may not be slash, Jack/Daniel, or gen. Daniel is injured and in the hospital in a coma and everybody takes turns reading or talking to him. Jack talks about some National Enquirer-like story about Egypt/King Tut. Daniel comes awake just as the doctors (Janet Frasier I am pretty sure) come in, and says that King Tut was not a cross-dresser and the doctors think he has brain damage or something (just for a second).


Can anybody help me, pretty please? :)

I knew I had re-read this recently so it bugged me... is it "A flash of brilliance" by Sideburns? Daniel ends up loopy on Vicodin at Jack's door after hitting his hand, wearing only a dressing gown after Teal'c stated he should show Jack what he most desires.

I know this one is not exact to your request but it is something like ..... the book Jack is reading to Daniel in the coma is called, 'The Mummy, the Will, and the Crypt'. When Daniel awakes he says .... "Jack, what... the hell... are... you... reading?" When Carolyn Lamb comes in to check him out he is confused because he is in the Memorial Hospital and not the Infirmary ......

I really liked this one, thanks for the rec! I think I should go read more of Sideburns' work.

I am beginning to think I dreamed the King Tut story though! ;)
