Stargate AU

I'm searching for AU fics along the lines of langford_u  or wildwest_lantis . Anything that takes our beloved characters and throws them into a completely different world. I've come across quite a few communities, but am I'm sure I'm missing a lot of one-shots/ individual fics. (I know there are a few Robin Hood style/Jane Austen style fics etc.)

Open to SG-1 and SGA, though I'd prefer Sam and Jack in the mix.

You've probably heard of these, but here they are just in case:

The Fireman verse is always a good one, though a lot of really good fics in the Fireman community haven't been posted to the community's site-so it's worth checking around:

For SGA ones (some of them have Sam and Jack in minor roles, though sorry, that's not marked), there are almost 900 stories listed in The Giant McShep AU list (http://www.squidge.org/GiantMcShepAUList/the-actual-list) (main pairing, you guessed it, John/Rodney, listed by John's AU job/Rodney's AU job.)

For one with Sam and Jack, on that list there's handy links to the AU where John's a photographer and Rodney a food stylist, both Sam and Jack do show up in the first installment (though it's Jack/Daniel), scroll down to "Photographer/Food artist = Clean Plate Club 'verse by yin-again" to find it.

"Row, Row, Row Your Boat" by Denise is a "crossover of sorts with Deadliest Catch" where they are all fishermen or members of the Coastguard. This isn't a community, but still pretty awesome and becomes Sam/Jack:

ALC Punk's "Caper" is set in the 40's and is a parody of the old film Noir detective stories (that I only know of thanks to the parodies of Bill Nye the Science guy;). It features O'Neill as the hard boiled detective, Sam as the alluring client with a mysterious past and various other SGC characters:

Ohh! I love all these. I've actually read most of them (and the ones below) but thank you for the links. I tend to lose track of stories I've read and wish to re-read :)

I like the look of the Interlude series, however. Would you be able to post the links?

Ah, no problem! I'm also a huge fan of these sort of AU communities, they just tend to "dry up" every so often:(

The Interlude 2005 series isn't that kind of AU series, with the exception of two chapters (sort of), but it is still pretty enjoyable. It's a lengthy read and the "Interlude's" are rotated through different authors (and diff. sites)...so expect different styles/paces: I especially loved Ruth M. King's contributions (mostly because she included a Moebius story with the awesomeness that is geeksam;) But yea..they shouldn't be read as standalones.

"Don't Give Up" by Ruth M. King is actually part of the Interlude 2005 Series and doesn't really count as an AU. But there is a large portion of this section of the story that *feels* like an AU, heavy on the sam/jack. Though I strongly recommend you read the previous parts of the Interlude series to fully understand it. If you want to read the whole series, let me know, different parts are on different sites:
