Kidnapped!Daniel

I read a story aaaaages ago in which Daniel was kidnapped and Jack had to rescue him. I think he was kidnapped on Earth by a military man/politician/whatever... Sorry this is so vague. Anything related to kidnapped!Daniel and rescuer!Jack would be welcome. :)

I'm vaguely aware of several stories like this - is this slash or gen? Because I know I remember a gen story where Daniel was kidnapped and they were somewhere in Denver, I think, and at the end he had a message on his answering machine from one of the "bad guys" (NID, I think) who'd ended up deciding to help them somehow. Does that sound like what you're looking for?

Is this the one where the NID kidnap Daniel and Sam and Ferretti pose as a lost married couple in order to gain access to the building where Daniel is being held? Jack goes in through the back.

Aggg, I remember a great friendship story where Daniel is kidnapped and held on a large estate. Jack and Teal'c rescue him. At one point Jack is going to take off his boots to give to Daniel. Jack helps himself to a small artifact to give to Daniel because he thought he deserved it. Daniel agreeded. I think of it
