Thematic Search: Insecure Daniel

I'm looking for some insecure Daniel fics. I'm craving a Daniel that tries to hide his pain, but feels either left out, not good enough, etc. Maybe he loves someone that he either thinks he doesn't deserve or just knows doesn't love him, etc. Maybe he tries to leave the SGC, I don't know. Maybe a Daniel who is even insecure to the point of being out of character...

Happy ending is appreciated, but not necessary.

I prefer Jack/Daniel, Daniel/Vala, or Gen, but I would pretty much try any pairing with Daniel even crossovers of some kind. :)

Looking at the list most of the stories I like best have Daniel being left out and Jack/rest of team finally figuring this out.
