Wee Daniel/Guardian Jack fic search

Hi,
I know this is a common search topic, but I'm looking for a kind of specific type of wee!Daniel/Guardian!Jack fics: Any fics where Jack, Sarah, and Charlie meet an abused/in foster care Daniel, and take him in/adopt him? I guess I'm looking specifically for fics where one of the O'neill's meets Daniel as a kid somehow, and he ends up part of the family. Please, no fics where Jack doesn't want Daniel at first or something, and no Jack/Daniel slash.

Then you must read Darcy's 'Much Abides' series! This is the link to the first part; it is a three part story and features Jack, Sarah and Charlie taking in a foster child who is quiet and withdrawn and has no reason to trust.

A friend pointed me to your LJ and these comments and I wanted to thank you for the rec and for the FB. It is much appreciated. And to let you know that the Much Abides universe is meant to be a 6 part series. Cathe and I are working on Part 5 right now. The boys are teenagers in this part so that's fun. Part 4 is finished but we're having trouble getting it posted. It should be up soon but if you're interested in reading it let me know and I can email it to you like I have to other interested readers. Thanks again. There is a Season was the very first LittleDaniel I ever read and I was immediately hooked on the genre and devoured everything I could find. I would love to read more of this universe!

Oh wow, thank you for that. Seasons was my first Little Danny fic and I knew exactly what I wanted to do with him. Of course, Kalimyre being a brilliant writer didn't hurt. Thanks, Ani! Find of a Lifetime has a special place in my heart, too, probably because I never thought I’d actually finish it, so thank you for that. Yep, still out here and writing, thanks in large part to the encouragement and writing power of my co-writer, Cathe. I’m just a very slow writer. Oh my God one of my all time favorite aurthors has another series to one of my all time favorite story line this day couldn't get any better.

I've read Much Abides series at least 3 times. I just finished reading for the 3rd time There is a Season.

Please,please, please, may I get a copy of part 5?

Oh, PJ, you just made my day! I’m thrilled you read the stories more than once. I think that may be the ultimate compliment. Your copy of MA 4 is on the way. MA 5 is about half done so that’ll be a while. The editing alone usually takes a few months but Cathe and I are determined to finish the Much Abides series as it was intended to be.
