Daniel wants to join the Tok'ra?

Hi,

I have a dim recollection of a fic I have read a long time ago. I think that it was on someone's LJ, but I can't be sure. At any rate, in the fic Daniel wanted to join the Tok'ra, maybe because he was in love with Jack and Jack was behaving like an ass towards him or maybe because his team has fallen apart and everyone had something else to do (it was pre season 8). I also remember that Jacob went to talk to someone, either Jack or Hammond, to inform them of the situation and get them to persuade Daniel not to do this because he's doing it for the wrong reasons. I think Daniel was going to join the Tok'ra because he didn't want to be involved with the stargate program/Jack anymore but still wanted to be a part of the fight against the Gua'uld.

I know it's very vegue, but it's all I can remember. Anyone recognize?

It sounds like a fic series by Lady Grey, I'm not sure where you can find her, someone mentioned her site coming down but she used to be posted on Area52. I think it was the Pearls of Wisdom series, where Daniel ended up with a Tokra Queen by accident, and Jack lost his mind over it. They fought, and Daniel was going to join the Tokra.... hope this helps. :D -SB

Thanks, and thanks to the person who posted the link, but it's not it... Other than having read it just now (the first part of it), in the fic I'm searching for Daniel was not already with a symbiote inside, but rather considering.

Well, I'm reading it, and I have read it in the past (must've been lost during some computer change or something), but it's not the one I'm looking for either.
The one I'm looking for definitly had a conversation with Hammond and things were more explosive between Jack and Jacob.
