FIC:SEARCH: Sam and Jacob strained relationship

Hi,
I actually like the Jacob character, but he wasn't always a great father. So, are there any fics that describe why the relationship was so strained? I'm interested in anything, especially au: like Jacob preferred a boy and didn't aknowledged Sam or he abused her (in any way). Maybe it comes to light years later in SGC.

Oh man, the closest story I could think is a 5 things fic that only brushes on the tension, and the story overall has a more positive note. There's also a tiny bit of s/j there, but only at the end.

Thanks, definitely gonna be reading that one. There doesn't seem to be many fics about the Sam/Jacob dynamic out there. :o[

Maureen Thayer (http://www.stargate-horizons.com/soulmates/index.html) published a few fics that had a Jacob/Sam interaction, but in truth I don't really remember them and I think that it was in a good way. She's also a Sam/Daniel writer...
Also Revelations (http://www.fanfiction.net/s/2093368/1/Revelations) is another Sam and Jacob interacting as Father/Daughter, as well as Almost Hom (http://www.fanfiction.net/s/2076076/1/Almost_Home)e, although it has some major OC screen time.
The truth is, I don't think that there was any indication that Jacob didn't treat Sam right, let alone abuse her in any way or form. Even Almost Home, where they visit Mark, Sam's brother, isn't about anger that stems from abuse, rather than neglect of the family in favor of career, which led to Sam's mother's car accident and death.
I must warn you, none of those fics I have read all the way through, but that was simply because the topic didn't really interests me.
