Hi there,
I'm looking for a fic in which Jack and Daniel are stranded on an alien planet. They are being held as prisoners and every few days Daniel is taken out into some kind of arena where he is chained to a pole. Then a drugged Jack has to fight another equally drugged combatant. I think it was explained that the winner would "get" Daniel as a prize and consequently the right to claim him. Of course Jack is determined to save his friend. For every defeated opponent Jack gets sliced with a knife and the cuts scar over. I don't remember how they escape but they stay there quite some time(~2years?). Well, anyway I would really like to read it again and hope someone here can help me.

Oh my God, you're right that's it. Actually I DID save her journal for the huge amount of awesome fic recs but somehow I forgot that she's an amazing author herself.

One of the best stories written.....I saw this request, read the reply and went straight to my EBook (where I had it saved) and re-read it avidly....just the best ever...and Jack is simply wonderful in this....<3 him so much...:)
