Lost Daniel Fic

Hi it's me again. This is my second time posting on this search. I remember a story and I'm not sure of much, but I'm hoping that someone could point me to the right one.

What I remember is something happened to Daniel that made him more of a celebrity in the galaxy, but no one really knew who exactly he was. I may be completely wrong about this. But the thing that is most clear in my mind is that someone, possibly Jacob comes to the SGC and tells them about a mysterious new enemy, and Jack makes some humorous comment like, "I'd like you to meet..." and then gestures to Daniel, indicating that the new enemy is actually Daniel.

I don't know if this has been helpful or if it will ring any bells, but I thought I would at least try.

It may be the series "What you already know" by Maureen Thayer on fanfiction .net It is a long series (7 Parts)

Actually, I don't think it is that series unless it is somewhere in one of the later stories, because I've already reread the first of the series and there was nothing like that despite that fact that the Tokra know already about Daniel. At first, I thought the same, but it doesn't seem to match up.
