Fic Search: Jack promoted

I am looking for a story I read a long time ago. The only thing that I remember is that Jack is in charge of Homeworld Security. The SGC is going international, and in order to make sure Jack isn't outranked by one of the new Generals, the President promotes him to 4 stars, and promotes the Chairman of the Joint Chiefs to 5 stars. Then, I think the new foreign Generals are taken on a tour of the Alpha site and it is attacked, but I might be confusing two stories. I hope this rings a bell for someone.

I would also love to read any stories with Jack as a 3 star general or higher, or where he is at the Pentagon. I have read the "General Jack" series on fanfiction.net, but any others would be welcome. Any pairing is okay. Thanks.

Homeworld Security Daycare is one of my favorite fic series/zine. It also has a sequel, Homeworld Security Daycare 2.

Bits of this sound like one of my stories Points of Departure (http://archiveofourown.org/works/540326). It has the SGC going international. He's not at the Pentagon and only a brigadier, though.
