Ok...this is going to be super vague as I cant actually remember if it was set in the SG1 or SGA verse! *slaps self*

I THINK it was an SG1 fic. Daniel is a little kid living in an apartment block with an old lady and Jack and Sara move in next door. Jack spots him sitting on the fire escape one day and invited him round for tea. (Or it could have been Rodney as a kid with John as the neighbour...*ponders*)

Anyone able to put me out of my misery?

Also looking for any Rodney fic reccs where he becomes blind or deaf...but its perminant.

Cheers!

I'm pretty sure The Legend of Daniel Jackson (http://www.geocities.com/lorienwillow/legend.htm) by Sam Walker is what you're looking for.

I don't follow SGA fic, so can't give you anything specific, but this might be a useful link for the Rodney fic: disability fanfic (http://www.geocities.com/disability_fanfic/stargateatlantis.html)

Joag has a similar fiction called Wings of Change http://pages.videotron.com/whump/wings.html, there's a sort of sequel written by Devra. Its slash though and has a squick warning. http://angstandwhump.popullus.net/devtime.html
