Good Daniel Fics

I tried browsing through the memories, but most of what I found was slash, or totally angst filled.

I was hoping to get some good recommendations for Daniel fics, ones that aren't angst filled (though a little is alright) But would really love ones where Daniel isn't kinda pathetic as sometimes people like to portray him, but actually has a backbone and participates in helping himself or others. Humour is also wonderful.

Also would greatly prefer gen!

Have you tried the Feisty Danny Appreciation Society (http://myweb.tiscali.co.uk/feistydanny/index.htm)? It's mostly slash, but not all, and definitely humorous and non-wishy-washy Daniels.

the All Daniel Fic Archive (http://www.alldanielfic.com/) has a good selection of both Gen and Het Pairings.

Also the memories at stargateficrec for both Daniel and Gen are worth looking at.
