Thematic search - parents

Hey,

I'm looking for fics where Stargate characters are parents - not the standard sweet stories about adopting alien children etc, but rather more unusual ones - perhaps more along the lines of meeting a child they never knew about, reuniting with a child they haven't seen for a long time, finding out that through some freak time-travel accident they're the father/mother of someone they know... etc.

I'd prefer fics where the "children" are adults, but I'll take good kidfics too.

For instance, I recently read a fic on Area 52 which was a crossover with The Sentinel, and Blair was Jack's child who he hadn't seen in nearly a decade (I think it's by Belladonna if you want to look it up).

Any stories where Cameron is really Jack's son would be very welcome!

Hmm. I'm not sure if these fics exactly meet your criteria, but they're the closest ones I can think of. Hope you find a few that you enjoy.

Salieri/Desolation Angels (http://salieri.bonuspoints.net/angel.html) (Jack/Daniel UST): Daniel becomes an adoptive father to Shifu. NOT a sweet adoption story; dark and gothic.
Gigi Sinclair/Curveball (Jack/Daniel): Episode tag to Learning Curve. Jack temporarily adopts Merrin. Bittersweet.

There are several on my kid!fic recs page (http://green-grrl.livejournal.com/23017.html). Some in the second section are about an SG-1 member having to take care of a shrunken other SG-1 member. The third section is all SG-1 members taking care of other kids. Two of them are about Jack unknowingly having fathered a kid with Laira on Edora.

If you want a long, really, really trippy, whacked out story with time travel and very unique views of both Jack and General Hammod as parents, try Lady Arkin's The Daddy Series (http://www.area52hkh.net/asl/larkin/daddy01.php).
