The Lost Jack/Daniel Fic, and another Ripple Effect question

OK, two questions, one on the off chance:

Firstly, I remember reading an amazing Jack/Daniel fic some time ago and I'd like to find it again. It was very "gritty", IYSWIM, remarkably realistic and characterful; it was set sometime in the later seasons, Jack and Daniel are having a huge row about something (Daniel's lack of self-preservation instinct, possibly) and part way through there's just this passing moment where Jack realises that Daniel isn't all soft and vulnerable and floppy-haired any more. It was just one fairly long chapter. It's not exactly much to go on I know, but if anyone knows what this fic might be I'd be very grateful.

The second question is for some help in getting my SO addicted to fanfic ;-) We've just watched "Ripple Effect", and I'd really like to find some light-hearted fic that plays with the multiple SG-1s. I'm looking for funny gen/teamfic or Sam/Janet (or Sam/Sam/Sam/Janet or just Sam/Sam/Sam/Sam/Sam/you get the idea!)

(If you happen to have any personal favourite Ripple Effect Comedy SG-1 Orgy fics, I'd be interested for my own smut collection too... but that's cheeky because I said there were only two questions :) )

The first one is such a general description it's not ringing any specific bells for me, but maybe it will ping someone.

I've been really surprised by how hard it is to find Ripple Effect fic that isn't angsty Black Team stuff, actually. There's so much in that episode that would feed the most glorious farces. Maybe I should just get writing instead!

You should! I know a couple of other fics that aren't angsty Black Team fics, but they're still think-y, pondering type fics, not silly. Write! (At least the orgy fics are fun. ;-)

Here are the fanfics that I know of the are Sam/Sam or/and Ripple Effect. I included Sam/RepliCarter because that is kind of Sam/Sam. Most of my tags after each story should be selfexplainatory except the S&J=Sam/Janet and O&S=Jack&Sam. I have never found any Janet/Janet fics. There are probably Daniel/Daniel, Jack/Jack, and Teal'c/Teal'c but I have never kept track of them. If you find any broken links or additions to these lists drop me a line.
