I swear I didn't imagine this fic...I thought

gaffsie wrote it but maybe not. It's post-Irresistible and someone finds out about what Rodney did (taking Lavin's herb and using it on John) and Rodney gets in trouble, but more importantly I think he and John have to work it out, delicious angst, and I think it ends up McShep? Not sure. Anyway, maybe someone can dig it up!

John, Rodney, Jack, and Daniel ascend and meet an Ancient. They figure out this isn't the first time they've been "rebooted". They make plans to do things better this time around and then get sent back in time. John and Rodney are still in high school, Daniel's in college, and Jack's a captain in the Air Force. John's parents sort of adopt them all. John's grandfather is a former president of the US. I've been looking for it all day and just can't find it.

Hi. I am looking for a fic that Keira mentioned on her radioblog about Rodney when he first came to the SGC. It is a sad fic. He has a daughter or son who is kidnapped and they threaten his kid and that is the reason he tries to do what he does. It is a baby. And when he fails, they kill the baby. And Jack is the only one who knows. That is all I know. I would like to find it. Thanks.

I'm searching for a Rodney centric fic told in the second person (you are, you think, ect) that begins with all the things he knows/remembers and ends with a line that went something like, "You remember love." The fic is structured like a count down, and I *think* each section got shorter? The main gist was that his intelligence/memory slowly whittles down.

Alright, I'm actually a little fuzzy on whether or not this is post series or just an AU. What I remember is that Rodney goes back to Earth because of...something, and circumstances are such that he finds himself teaching at a pretty small, definitely not prestigious university. He slowly develops the physics department, drawing on his experiences on Atlantis for inspiration. He as a group of promising students that both hate him and love him for being the most impossibly difficult proffessor ever. One of his seminars is called "Shit I Wish Someone Would Have Told Me", and basically involves putting his students in life-or-death situations and forcing them to think their way out.

I'm pretty sure it's gen.

Please help me find this - it's driving me crazy!

Okay, just off the bat: I don't hate Rodney.

Unfortunately, he strongly resembles and reminds of someone I used to know IRL who did something incredibly nasty to me and who, I just found out, did it again to another woman. Ducks nibbling this prick to death while he drowns in a lake of camel urine would be far too good a death. So to assuage my rage by proxy, please: Fics where Rodney is an asshole and gets smacked down hard. Nothing where he's the innocent/misunderstood/woobie, nothing where he gets a happy ending unless it comes after massive atonement and groveling about how he's (rightly) so very wrong, nothing where he's evil and gets away with it. Please, no end McShep or bonus Sam bashing, but I'll take anything else as long as Rodney justly suffers.

I'm looking for a fic in which Rodney has retired from the Stargate program to teach physics at some small backwater college. John was Rodney's beloved (lover?), but is now deceased.
Rodney had planned for obscurity, but began teaching a few very capable grad students, in courses like Scientific Ethics, and he decided to begin publishing papers again to
a. (re)build his professional reputation
b. help his very capable grad students get more and better positions for post-grad work.
c. gain more clout to help him defend his grad students when the military (Stargate Command) comes recruiting.

Any suggestions would be most welcome.

Hi I'm looking for a SG1/SGA xover, featuring Sam and Mckay.

Does anyone remember a story where Rodney was at the SGC. Pre-Atlantis, but after 48 hours. Carter fell under the influence of something and tried to sex him up, so he dropped her off in the infirmary. Later she tried to thank him for not taking advantage and he got really offended that apparently she expected him to rape her.

I'm looking for either SGA or SG1 fics where either Rodney or Daniel is overworked and their team doesn't notice. Like, how many repair jobs Rodney gets called to at all hours, or how Daniel has a ton of translating to do, stuff like that.

Wow. I just found this site and it is amazing! I'm finding this whole "ask others where to find great fic" thing really, really, cool. So ummm.....am I allowed to ask for more than one thing at a time? I'm hoping so because having someone give me a recommendation for a good fic instead of searching through I don't know how many archives sounds like a GREAT idea. So, okay, here goes nothing.

1. I would absolutely love to find anything to do with Rodney and John being really good friends and helping each other through tough situations and whatnot. I prefer not to read slash but if it has a good plot and not much smut I'm okay with it.

2. How about anything to do with Rodney's hypoglycemia. Not the Rodney's faking the whole thing hypoglycemia, I'm talking hard core lying on deaths door type stuff. Oooooo allergic reactions are good too.

3. Something addressing the line in Irresistible where Rodney says " So Ronon came down and held me against the wall...." I just can't seem to get enough of whumping Rodney........he's so whumpable.

That's all folks. I didn't want to be to demanding my first go around so I'll stop there. A great many awkward, not quite, sounds kinda funny, almost thank you's, in our favorite astrophysicists honor to anyone who can help!

We've all read the fics where John is Atlantis's favorite person because of the strength of his gene. What I'm looking for are the fics where Rodney is Atlantis's favorite (which, logically, he should be, since he fixes everything and keeps the city running and John...flies puddle jumpers).
